Review: Milani Eyeshadow Quad 03 Dream Baby

This is a beautiful four pan neutral palette from Milani. It is called Dream Baby and it retails for 5 to 6 dollars at the drug store and online. Namely CVS in my area and www.cherryculture.com. This was gifted to me and I love it. I think that this is a really good warm tone brown and pink palette. This also has different texture shadows.
A matte light baby pink, shimmery pink champagne color, a matte warm brown and a shimmery dark bronze brown. The mix of textures makes this palette very versatile and good for people of all ages. Theses eye shadows are decently pigmented.

They don't swatch very well but on my eye lids they transfer very well. The least pigmented color I'd say is the pink. It took a couple of times to have it show up for the swatch, but I mostly use it as a light transition color, in between the crease and highlight color. The bronze color though is intense. This color is very pigmented and a little bit will go a long way.

Out of this quad I have been able to do multiple types of eye looks which makes this quad very versatile. I can do simple one color looks to more complicated multidimensional looks (meaning more than one color).
Overall I really like this. When I travel I like to take this palette because is has the basic neutral eye shadows perfect for everyday use.
Hope you guys enjoyed and Ill update again later :)

Review: TRESemme Thermal Creation: Heat Tamer Spray.

Review time!

I have been heat styling my hair for a long time. I'd say going on since junior year of high school. That was  when I grew out my pixie cut and started styling.
Now I can say that I blow dry my hair every morning  every day of the week except Sundays.  And because I have that habit I have to take protective measures for my hair care. This hair protectant comes in a 8 fl ounce bottle with a trigger spray nozzle. It is about 7 dollars at Target and one bottle last me about 4-5 months. That is with every day use and it will last even longer with inconsistent use. It also has a lock on the handle that you push to lock the trigger. Convenient for travel. This is a very fine mist and has a very pleasant scent. When I spray it onto my damp hair it leaves a light scent in my hair. It doesn't last very long so if it isn't to your liking it shouldn't be too much of a con.  I like it, but I heard ways to test the effectiveness of heat protectant is to spray in on the back of your hand and blow dry it to so see how long before your hand heats up. When I tested it my hand actually heated up pretty fast, so its kinda skeptical now to me but I still continue to use it.

Review: Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller.

Wow guys it has been a while. sorry for the lack of updates but I'm still trying to adjust from the workload from school and work, but I think I got it figured out so I should be back to normal soon.

So today I have  a review on the Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller. I found out about this product though one of my favorite makeup bloggers and I wanted to have a try at it.  I have had this product for a long time and it has taken me some time to realize what is the best way to use this product. When I first got this I apply it straight to my under eye area but it would always crease and actually enhanced the darkness under my eyes with a grey shadow . So I stopped using it for a long time and then out of the blue after I improved my skin care routine I figured out that, for me it works best when my under eye area is very moisturized.

This product  is marketed for people who want to diminish the look of dark circles and help fade them over time. It comes packaged in a tube bottle with a roll on applicator. What I really like is that it is a metal ball so that in the morning it is nice and cold. Which makes is refreshing to apply in the morning. I like to  store this upside down so that the serum come out more evenly instead of having to hold it upside down and waiting for the product to come out. This is a lightly tinted serum that helps in concealing the darkness. The color is very light and of neutral tone. If offers every light coverage, and on a good day I can go out with just that as my under eye concealer. But most of the time I still have to apply a concealer for more coverage.

Over all I like and enjoy this product. I feel that is has help with my dark circles. A first I though it was garbage because I couldn't get it to work for me but after lots of trial and error I got it to work for me and now I really like it.  I think it is a product worth trying and maybe it'll help you.

Sunday Goodies!: OOTD: Mens wear inspired

Hello! fall is coming and that means Mens fashion!... at least for me. Today I wearing a loose fit tank with a lip print (forever 21)  a straw fedora hat (Hong Kong) and some skinny jeans (Old Navy) I folded up into capris.  Reason being,  because I wanted my new Oxford shoes (Free Press)  to be completely shown.
I have been dieing to own a pair of Oxfords for the longest time and I finally found a pair that I liked and were reasonably priced.  They do need a little breaking into but I like them. To me, there is nothing better than a woman who can look good rocking some men clothing. I think it is a great combo and more women should try it. The mixture of masculinity and femininity offers the outfit more dimension and uniqueness.

have fun rocking Men's fashions this season!
until next time :)

Review: Stila eyeshadow Trio palette-Warm

Hello, today I have a review on the Stila eye shadow trio palette in Warm. This came in a Stila set I got at Costco. I originally wanted the  the palette because it had Stila's very popular Kitten eyeshadow included with two other eye shadows and that was enough to draw me in. But to my surprise I really like the other two colors and I am very happy with the  palette.
In this palette there are three colors
  • Yellow gold called Lame
  • Bronze brown called Chloe
  • Pink champagne called Kitten.

These eye shadows are all very pigmented and soft. They feel almost like  mousse in texture. However because the shadows are soft there is some fall out in application and makes the pan and palette very dirty easily. The packaging of the palette consists of sleek black plastic that is very reflective. The front has a clear slit allowing the colors of the eye shadows to peek through. The plastic feels sturdy and light but with constant use the clasp of the case broke, so my palette doesn't properly snap shut.
Overall, as this being my first Stila eye shadow palette I am really impressed. The texture and formulation of the eyeshadow is very unique. It is very different from any other eyeshadow that I own. They are soft yet pigmented and a little bit goes a long way.

ACW Allcosmeticswholesale.com Haul!

I came across this cite http://allcosmeticswholesale.com/index.html randomly through YouTube and at first, I was super skeptical but I researched them a little and read some review and everyone said really good things. The best part about this cite is that they sell high end/department store makeup for discounted prices. Some are up to 50-60 % off. Insane. They also sell rare and discontinued items which are prices a higher than original price. What I really love about them is that the shipping is wicked fast and they don't charge tax ether. Shipping is extremely reasonable and everything is thoroughly bubble wrapped.
So I ordered some stuff to test them out.  My first order was a tester so my  order was super small and not worth a big deal so I got a
Clinique Blush in Fresh Bloom Bamboo Pink $12
revlon lipsticks:$4 each Carnation and Petal
and Kiehl's Creamy eye treatment with Avocado.$ 18

Because my first experience with them was very good  I went back and purchased some more things.
Which includes the discontinued Even Better Clinique skin tone correcter for $20; 50 % off,
 and
a Stila smudge pot/ gel eyeliner in Cobalt Clutch $9

I actually also ordered an Estee Lauder Limited Edition Highlighter but it got sold out before they could finalized my order so that was a bummer, but they went and contacted me right away to inform me of the situation.

I really like this site, I think it is a great place to find and purchase high end products at low end prices.

Happy Shopping!

Hautelook Haul 1 Eve Pearl

yay! Finally, my Eve Pearl order came in today.   The package was right at my door step when I got home today from school. YAY ^_^ the first thing I did was rip open the packaging and check my concealer because I saw a photo of Hollyanneree's order and it was all melted and jacked up. I was really scared and ready to draft up a complaint to Hautelook, but mine came in fine. My only complaint was the shipping from Hautelook felt like it took forever. But once I realized that they ship from New Jersey and by ground I let it slide.

Fashion: The Maxi! OOTD Sunday Sept 4

The Maxi, summers best friend. I love this dress. I found this at American Eagle for $34 clearance and the sales girl was super nice and gave my friend and I 15% more for checking into Facebook. What I love about this dress is that it is a shorter maxi. I'm 5'2, and long dresses are hard to come by with out it swallowing me whole, or it being way too long. When I have this on in flats, it just barely grazes the floor and with some wedges on (2-3 inches), my shoes can peek out from  under the dress.

Love this dress. What do you guys consider to be summers best friend? :)
