Review: MAC Sheertone Blush: Gingerly

I have been on a blush crazy lately! I have been loving using blush again. It gives such a nice flush of color and makes the face look healthy and happy. Blush in the fall and winter time is the perfect way to add color in dreary and cold months
I have always wanted to try the Mac shear tone blushes from Mac and I am so happy this is my first choice. This was 20.00 and is available at any Mac counter or store and this is a permanent color. Gingerly is a cool tone mauve pink that has hint of a brown undertone, which I found to be a great blush/contort color for my skin tone.I have light/medium skin tone and this would work great on fair and up to skin tones to the 35-40nc/nw range
A shear tone blush from Mac is a lightly pigmented blush that is very forgiving and is great for layering colors to build up the colors. I find this to be perfect for people who are light handed with there makeup or who are new to makeup and are afraid to make mistakes. This blush is virtually impossible to make a mistake with. The blush give the skin a natural pink flush to the skin and also acts like a slight contour on my cheeks and I find it great for every day as it makes putting on blush and a contour very fast and easy.
This is a great everyday color and the Shear tone range is gorgeous range that makes for blush application easy and simple.

Review: Mac Cream sheen Lipstick: Ravishing

FREEDOM! Finals are done and now its winter break!
In celebration today's review is on one of my favorite lipsticks ever! Macs Ravishing cream sheen lipstick and the funny thing is that I didn't even pick this one out, My boyfriend did he gave it to me and said "try this one" I did and I was like its so pretty. I put it on and I really liked the color on me. I really enjoy peach and coral colors on my skin, blushes, eye shadow and lipsticks are all very pretty.
The packaging of all mac lipsticks are in a black case with Mac in silver print. The packaging is sleek and classic. Ravishing is a permanent color.  Mac lipsticks all have a cupcake scent to it, the scent isn't very strong and I find it very pleasant.  This is available at any Mac counter or Store. It retails for 15.99.
Ravishing is a light peachy orange shade. This color is bright yet wearable and add a nice understated pop of color to the face. I like wearing this color when I wear warm colored eye shadow or when I only wear eyeliner. This color is great for the fall time. Its warm yet bright and cheerful  Wearing this always perks up my mood This goes great with fall inspired outfits, browns, oranges  rich colors all look beautiful with this and is my go to lip color.
The Cream Sheen Line of lipsticks from Mac are a lipstick and gloss in one. They leave a glossy finish on the lips and they don't need anything on top. Ravishing packs a punch in pigmentation  yet is sheer enough to make it a wearable color. On its own the creamsheen isn't drying on the lips and is decently long lasting. After about 3 hours tho it does start to get drying but its nothing unbearable.

This is my favorite fall lipstick, it is bright and cheerful  Adds a much needed pop to gray and gloomy days. The peachy coral color adds a natural color compliment to my skin and makes me look awake and fresh. I highly recommend this color!

Review: MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation NC 35

Hello! I have returned! lols Idk why I had such a long hiatus but I'm back now, with lots of review and  fashion posts!
I have a new review today. I'm excided! this is my first MAC powder foundation. This is the MAC Studio Fix powder foundation. I have it in the color NC35. This is part of the permanent range at MAC and is available at any MAC counter or store. This is $29.99 and has 15grams of product.  That is a lot of product. That will last me a long time so the 30 dollar price ticket is okay, plus I love this product enough to justify it.
I love this powder! This has been my go to face powder since I got it. This powder is medium/full coverage but is light weight. This is a great powder, it offers good coverage, light weight on the skin,  and is long wearing. This evens out my skin tone and offers medium coverage and then with a second layer it can easily be full coverage.
My skin loves this powder too, I have acne prone skin and it didn't break out at all. This is a great foundation for oily skin because it absorbs oil very well and stays matte for a long time.
A big worry I had with this powder was the fear of cake face, because it's a full coverage powder, luckily tho I'v never had that problem and even if I used too much powder my skin, through out the day would take out the powdery look. And if that didn't work FIX+ works great at de-powdering and refreshing the skin.
Overall I really like this powder, great coverage long lasting and awesome color selection.

Review: MAC paintpot : Soft Ochre

Hi! Today's review is on MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre. This is $17.50 a jar and is available at any MAC counter or Online.
The color I have is Soft Ochre, a warm yellow color base cream color that, I like to use as an eye primer.  MAC calls it a long wearing cream. These have become very popular choices for eye primers because they are long lasting and depending on the color you chose can act like a color neutralizing base for your eye shadows.
Soft Ochre is very smooth and creamy and applies easily on my lids and  acts very much like an eye primer, because it drys to a powder finish and helps to prevent creasing though out the day. The effect of this primer is very similar to that of Urban Decays primer potion in Eden, (I have reviewed) both are matte and yellow based products that look and act the same.
I like the sleek packaging of the product. maximum style minimum space.

Review: MAC lipstick in Faux

Happy Thanksgiving guys, I had some down time from today's hustle and bustle and I have a review on one of my favorite lip colors ever.
Today I have a review on my very first MAC lipstick. The color I have is Faux. This is a Satin finish lip color. The color is a mauve cool tone medium pink, which transfers true to color on my lips.It is a very natural pink on my lips. This color is one of my favorite to wear every day. This one I can match with any outfit and makeup. This is a very pigmented lip color and one swipe on my lips is full coverage.

Like all MAC lip products this has a vanilla cupcake  like scent. I doesn't bother me, but it might others. This was 14.99 at my local MAC counter. This color looks good either with or with out lip gloss on top. The color by itself has a slight sheen. The lasting power of the lipstick is okay, its not the longest lasting but it is also not one that will disappear in a couple of hours. It stays on my lips for a good amount of time and even when it fades it leave a tint like appearance so I don't really  need to reapply it.

Review: MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC30

Hello Hello, I have a review on a MAC product today and it's on their Studio Finish Concealer in NC30
This is a potted cream concealer marketed to cover any imperfections on the skin. This is retailed for 16.50 at any MAC store or counter. This concealer is medium to full coverage. Even though this concealer is medium to full, it does not feel heavy on my skin and does not cake up Unless you have dry patches of skin. This concealer drys matte and does not require powdering but for all-day use and because of  my skin type I like to lightly power.
I like to apply this product with my fingers because it warms up the product and allows for better applications of the product. it goes on easier and smoother with more coverage. I like to use this on the days when I want my acne scars on the back of my cheeks to disappear for the day. And it works. this is able to cover up the majority of the scares. It is not completely covered  but from a glance no one would know that I have acne scares. This is not a concealer if you have any dry patches of skin because it will grab on and not let go. The staying power of this concealer is really good. I've used this in super hot days and after all day it is still there. For the use under the eyes, it is okay, It covers the darkness underneath my eyes but without a primer it will settle into fine lines and will crease .

So here I have a before and after photo of my right cheek, and as you can see the "after" picture has a significant difference compared to my "before" cheek.

Verdict: I like it, my go to acne covering concealer.
